Water & Sewer Collections

Quarterly Water and/or Sewer Usage Bills will now be paid in the tax office.  Bills are due and payable July 1, 2026.  Payments not made in full on or before August 3, 2026, will be subject to interest of 1.5% per month from the due date.   Water & Sewer payments left in the night drop after 4:30 pm on August 3, 2026, will be considered as having been made on the following business day and will be deemed as paid late.  Please make checks payable to Water & Sewer and write your account number on the check. 

Failure to receive a bill does not invalidate the bill nor interest.  For more information or to PAY YOUR BILL ONLINE, visit our website   www.colchesterct.govPlease contact the Tax Collector if you do not have a bill for either Taxes or Water & Sewer 

Avoid waiting in long lines by paying on-line under Online Services, return your payment by mail or use our night drop box located to the left of Colchester Town Hall’s entrance. If a receipt is desired, please send a self addressed stamped envelope and two copies of the bill.  Mail postmarked (US Postal Service postmark only) on or before the due dates above will be accepted.

Mail Water & Sewer Payments and Tax Payments to: Tax Office, 127 Norwich Avenue Colchester, CT, 06415.  Office hours for July are as follows:  Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30 pm Thursday until 7pm.  The office will be closed on July 4th.
