Summer Concerts on the Town Green are back for 2021
A 4-week summer concert series is planned for the Town Green this summer. We are excited to bring back a Colchester favorite. We settled on Thursday evenings based on the results of the survey that was sent out in March. All concerts will be held from 6-8pm and are free of charge. If you, or your business, is interested in sponsoring a concert, give us a call, it is a great way to share in the success of community events! Kids for a Cause will be selling snacks and drinks at each concert- all proceeds go to the playground fund. An ice cream truck will be at each concert as well. Meals will be offered as noted below.
- Thursday, July 15 “Night Shift” performs the most popular, fun songs from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. You can learn more about the band and preview their music here: nightshiftbandct
- Thursday, July 22 “Dennis Polisky and Maestro’s Men”: a Grammy nominated, Polka Hall of Fame, Award winning band, with roots right here in Colchester. Check them out at www.maestrosmen.com. The Polish Kitchen will be cooking up an authenic polish dinner- pre orders are accepted and food will be available at the concert until sold out for $15 each.
- Thursday, July 29 “The Locomotives” will bring you folk, rock, blues, and swing with a strong following of dedicated fans. Listen to more of their music at www.locosmusic.com. The Polish Kitchen will be back with sausage and pepper grinders, a bag of chips and a water for $10. Meals will be ready beginning at 5:30pm.
