COLCHESTER’S ROOTS IN AGRICULTURE: THEN AND NOW Colchester’s Roots in Agriculture: Then and Now, highlights the evolution of farming from the town’s founding in 1698 to the present. Photographs and excerpts from primary documents illustrate the story of both long-established farmers, newly arrived immigrants in the early 1900’s and the revival of diverse farming in Colchester now.
