The Colchester Long-Term Recovery Committee was charged with making findings and recommendations to the Board of Selectmen in response to the identified needs of Colchester residents and businesses impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Resident Survey Results report summarizes the responses to a survey that generated over 1,000 responses to questions ranging from impacts on family life, mental health, finances and consumer behavior. Respondents also wrote-in hundreds of their own personal comments.
The Resident Survey Results report is the Committee's initial effort to begin a conversation with the Colchester Board of Selectmen about moving forward in response to the needs and concerns of the community identified by the survey.
