1.    Local Wreaths Across America volunteers are working hard to ensure that all veterans laid to rest at Westchester Cemetery are honored this December as part of National Wreaths Across America Day this Saturday, December 17th, at Noon.  estchester Cemetery Association, in collaboration with Troop 109, is helping to coordinate the event.   hope to see everyone there!!

2.    On Sunday, December 18th, Hanukkah begins after sundown. I wish the eewish community a wonderful eight days of celebrating the Festival of Lights.

3.    Congratulations to Kate Byroadetown'stown’s Cragin Memorial Library Director, for being selected to serve as the Connecticut LiAssociation'stion’s representative to the American Library Association.

4.    Holiday Homecoming 2022 with Santa, carolers, hot chocolate, and the festive atmosphere was a tremendous su cess.  hank you to everyone who came out for the fun on December 4th!

 

5.    A big thank you to our mystery fan for donating this wonderful gingerbread set to Town Hall!  here is nothing like the holidays

6.    The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved for the Town of Colchester to award a bid to JB Roofing for a new Salt Shed Roof in the amount of $13,955

8.    Weekly Farm Spotlight: Hop Culture Farms & Brew located on 144 Cato Corner Road will have their first ever SantaCon on Saturday, December 17th. This is a free event and a food truck from Square Peg Pizzeria will be available.
