Independence Day Weekend

I want to wish the entire community a wonderful long weekend, one which will culminate on our nation’s birthday. As you spend time with your family and friends, let us remember all that unites us as Americans. Let us reflect on the great Americans who laid the foundation for our country to become a beacon of hope. The United States is the land of opportunity and where dreams can come true.

  1. An Update: On Monday, an 8-year-old boy suffered serious injuries and was taken to Connecticut Children’s Hospital. The young boy had been in critical condition but is now stable. He has a long road ahead for recovery. I ask that we, as a community, pray for him and his family. The driver who was initially taken to Hartford Hospital is going to be fine. Please stay safe out there this Fourth of July weekend.
