First Selectman's Report: 10/10 - 10/12

solidarity

1. Solidarity with Israel

These past few days, we have seen tragic events unfold in the Middle East. Privately, I have expressed my condolences to members of our Jewish community and have prayed for all the souls in the region. As the events continue to unfold and the atrocities are revealed, I ask for the entire Town of Colchester to stand in solidarity with Israel and to pray for peace.

Our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones at the hands of the terrorist group Hamas. The Town supports Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his efforts to eradicate evil. Let us all keep Israel in our hearts and prayers.
