FY26-27 Proposals (as of June 19, 2026)


The Board of Finance voted to reduce the combined Board of Education and Board of Selectmen (Town) budgets on June 18 by a total of $1,667,890.

The proposed mill rate is 30.97 — an increase of 1.05 mills or 3.5%. Based on the average residential assessment, the average monthly tax impact is about $18 per household.

  • The proposed Board of Education budget is $49,368,807
  • The proposed Board of Selectmen budget is $19,045,308

A referendum is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 28 (pending approval by the Board of Selectmen).
