The deadline to submit non-municipal ARPA applications has closed as of April 30th, 2022.

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was enacted by Congress providing additional financial relief to communities to address the continued impact of Covid-19.  ARPA allows for community members, businesses, town departments, etc. to submit applications for funding to those negatively impacted by COVID-19. The ARPA Ad-Hoc Committee will review applications for the use of the funds allocated to the community of Colchester and provide recommendations to the Board of Selectmen for funding and disbursement of these ARPA funds.  The ARPA Recovery Funding Request Application can be found here on the town website or can be picked up at the First Selectman’s office within the Town Hall.  It is important that your application meet the requirements of the Act to qualify for funding. Please take the time to review the instructions and provided information before submitting your application. The awarding of funding will be done in multiple waves so it is beneficial to get your application in as early as possible as the available funding will became more limited as we progress (application waves are target dates). If you have any questions, or are confused about the process, please email us at ARPA@ColchesterCT.gov.
