Absentee Ballot Application

  • If you are unable to come to the polls to vote you may vote by Absentee ballot
  • Applications for an Absentee Ballot can be obtained from the Town Clerk's office or from the Secretary of the State's office.

  • A completed and signed application must be filed with the town clerk
  • If you e-mail an application, the original signed application must be sent to the Town Clerk's office by election day or your ballot may not be counted.
  • An Emergency application may be issued when a voter is hospitalized within five days of the election.  Please contact the Town Clerk's office for more information.

 

 Absentee Ballot

  • When returning an Absentee Ballot, please take special care to follow the instructions that are included in the envelope.  If the materials you return are not properly signed and sealed, your vote may not be counted on Election Day
  • Ballots must be received by the Town Clerk's office by 4:30 the day before the election if returned in person.
  • Ballots must be received in the Town Clerk's office by 8:00 on Election day if put in the Secure Election Drop box in front of Town Hall or brought in by a designee. Designees must sign the ballot envelope.

Registering to Vote

You may register to vote in the Registrar's Office or the Town Clerk's Office by filling out a voter registration card.
