COVID Vaccine Clinic - October 5, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

There will be another COVID Vaccination clinic held at Town Hall on Tuesday, October 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is an opportunity for people to get their first shot, or for the individuals who got their first shot on September 14 to get their second shot as well as those who are eligible to receive the Pfizer booster. The following is guidance received

For awareness, the CDC has made the following recommendation: 

People 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, 

People aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series,

People aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may* receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks, and

People aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may* receive a booster shot of Pfizer-BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks. (occupational or institutional setting" includes teachers, healthcare workers, and anyone with a job that involves high degrees of human contact.)

Please also note DPH’s guidance related to eligibility verification including DPH affirming that it, “continues to support patient self-identification and attestation as a sufficient basis for confirming that an individual is within one of the categories for whom boosters are recommended.”
