Town Hall Parking Lot Paving Schedule;
Reclaimed Friday, August 17th
Graded Saturday & Sunday, August 18th & 19th
Paved Monday, August 20th
There will be limited access to all portions of the parking lot during this time. Personnel will be directing traffic to available entry and parking areas. Residents are encouraged to delay any business to Town Hall, if possible, during this time.

Road Work Schedule
The 2018-2019 Town of Colchester roadway improvement program will commence on Wednesday July 11, 2018. Cold In Place Asphalt Recycling will be occurring on Old Hartford Road from the Route 2 On-Ramp westerly to the bridge over Judd Brook. Following this, the same process will be occurring on Deer Run for the length of the road. This method is a two step process where the existing pavement is recycled, then allowed to set up, (approximately 3 to 4 weeks) and then a new 1.5 inch~asphalt cap is placed over the roadway as the final surface course.~ Driveway aprons are then adjusted where necessary to maintain road gutter lines.~
Motorist should expect to encounter delays and traffic personnel will be on site to direct motorists in the construction areas.~~

Norwich Avenue Road Work
On Monday August 6 The State of Connecticut DOT will start the Milling of Norwich Avenue from the Lebanon Town line traveling westerly towards the center of town to Route 85. It is anticipated that this work will occur from August 6th to Wednesday August 8th. Work will be conducted during the day time hours beginning at 7:00 am and concluding at 5:30 pm. Directly following the completion of the milling, on Thursday August 9th the State will commence paving of Norwich Avenue from the intersection of Route 85 traveling easterly towards the Lebanon Town line.~ The paving work will likely conclude by August 16th.~ Paving work will occur during day time hours beginning at 6:00 am and concluding at 5:00 pm daily.~ Motorist should anticipate delays in and around the construction zones and seek out alternate routes if possible during construction activities.

CT Transit Notification
CT Transit is alerting passengers that Marlborough will be closing a portion of North Main Street for construction. This will change the commuter bus service from Marlborough & Colchester for the month of July and early August.
