Vacancy on Board of Finance
Due to a resignation there is currently a Democrat vacancy
on the Colchester Board of Finance. Per the Town Charter,
the opening must be filled by an elector of the same party as
the person who resigned. The Board currently holds their regular
meetings at Colchester Town Hall on the first and third Wednesdays
of each month at 7pm. The applicant chosen to fill the vacancy will
hold the position until that member position expires on Nov. 2017,
whereby the seat will be up for election.  Colchester residents
interested in interviewing before the Board of Finance for the vacancy
should fill out a Board/Commission application and submit it to
Tricia Dean the Executive Assistant to the First Selectman, 127 Norwich Ave.
