Use caution with generators and alternate heating sources. Only properly connected, inspected, and approved equipment should be used.

NEWS

Town Hall, Cragin Library and the Senior Center will be closed on Monday, January 21, 2019 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Additionally, Cragin Library will be closed Saturday, January 19, 2019 for carpet cleaning.

9th Annual Freezin' for a Reason
Starting on Friday, February 8th to Sunday, February 10th
Officer Rob Suchecki, Fire Chief Walt Cox, Greg Cordova and Fred Brown are camping on the Town Green to raise money for the Colchester Fuel Bank. Come down to the Green to say hi and donate money for the Fuel Bank. Or donate online with Pay Pal using freezinforareason@yahoo.com/freezinforareason

Trail Map Guide
With the funds received from a CT DEEP Recreational Trails Program Grant, the Town of Colchester partnered with the Chatham Health District to develop this Trail Map Guide. The purpose for this guide is to encourage physical activity by promoting the use of our region's amazing network of walking trails. The Trail Map Guide includes a listing and the general location of the public trail systems within the six towns in the Chatham District (Colchester, East Haddam, East Hampton, Hebron, Marlborough and Portland). The guide also includes a full-page map showing users the approximate location of each trail facility. The guide can be printed by clicking on the link, or they are also available at the Colchester Town Clerk's Office.
