Public Safety Announcement
Smoke Alarms and Carbon Monoxide Detectors
As the spring time change approaches, the Colchester Fire
Marshall wants to remind residents to change the batteries in their
smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. Doing this once a
year and also testing them monthly can be a lifesaving habit.
Thanks to Energizer and the 'Change Your Clock Change Your
Battery' program the Fire Department has replacement batteries for
any Town of Colchester Senior Citizens who may need them to replace
batteries for their smoke alarms.
Please call the Colchester Fire Department 537-2512 to request this service
