Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2008
Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. If you are unsure of your voting district click here for a listing by street.
For this Election
District 1 will vote at Town Hall
District 2 will vote at The Assemblies of God Hall at the corner of Middletown Road and Skinner Road
District 3 will vote at Bacon Academy
For a voter register card click here. Voter Registration Cards must be post marked by October 21st or hand delivered by October 28th. The Registrars will be open on Saturday, September 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for those that wish to walk in and register to vote.
For an Absentee Ballot Application click here. Return the application to The Town Clerk's Office, 127 Norwich Avenue. The ballot can be mailed to you or given to you in person. All ballots must be received on or before election day to be counted.
For your convenience the Town Clerk's Office will be open until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28th and from 9:00 a.m. to Noon on Saturday, November 1st. Our regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except Thursdays when we are open until 7:00 p.m.
On Election Day the Town Clerk's office will be closed to the general public for all other business except for those who are not registered voters but wish to vote for the office of President of the United States, as well as emergency absentee ballots.
