Town Hall Offices are open Wed. 1/17, Senior Center is open, and Cragin Library will open at 10am. Senior buses will not be running and TVCCA has cancelled the senior lunch. The Board of Finance Budget Forum scheduled at the Senior Center tonight will move to March 7th.
The regular Board of Finance meeting will still go on tonight at 7pm in Town Hall.
Town of Colchester Water Department
From the Town of Colchester Water Department 1/8/18: Due to the unusual cold weather pattern that should end this week, customers of the Colchester Water System are requested to be aware of thawing pipes that may have been previously frozen within their residencies and hose connections located outside of their homes. The Water Department along with the Colchester Public Works Department have been repairing two water main breaks in the last 24 hours on Alexander Drive and Chestnut Drive. Customers are requested to make efforts to conserve water use for the upcoming weeks while the freeze/thawing cycle continues.

Motor Vehicle Tax Bills
Update from the Tax Collector
The Tax Office will upload into the DMV system a batch release at 3:30pm daily if paid by cash.
All other forms of payment will have a 10 day waiting period - no exceptions.
DMV has stated to our office that releases put onto their system can take up to 48 hours or longer to take effect into their system.

SERAC present a Mock Teen Bedroom that challenges parents to find drug & alcohol related items that most parents would never be able to identify. You'll learn more about drug trends and signs such as: concealment areas, hidden containers, clothing, paraphernalia, logos and more. Students in grades 7 and up will have a separate presentation.
