Public Notice
The Citizens Campaign for the Environment, a non-profit organization
which is a registered charitable organization through the state, will         
start their annual canvassing home-to-home operations in Colchester.      
Representatives will be engaging citizens about theri research and        
public education on key environmental issues.  Each representative        
is required to have photo ID cards which they will present.  Visits will       
take place Monday through Friday between 4pm - 8:30pm.  This is not    
an endorsement by the Town regarding the views of Citizens      
Campaign for the Environment, but rather informing homeowners     
that this campaign will take place.  
Currently there are no other organizations registered to do canvassing
Colchester.  Please always ask for identification.  If someone is not willing
to provide ID or is not from the above organization call the Police
Department immediately.
