Residents can pay their taxes three ways - (1) by coming into the Tax Collector's Office during normal business hours, (2) by dropping paid bills into the drop box by the Town Hall entrance, or (3) by credit card, online.
Normal business hours are: Monday - Wednesday, and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm; and Thursdays 8:30am to 7:00pm.
PAYING BY CREDIT CARD
Payments are made through a third party company named "Official Payments". Official Payments can be reached by phone or website. The toll-free number is 1-800-272-9829. Click here to link to the Official Payments website.
To make a credit card payment you will need the following information: zip-code (06415), jurisdiction code (1712), bill number (exmple - 2002199999) and the amount to be paid. There is a convenience fee for use of this service. To download the credit card fee schedule click here.
