Show Us Your 57!

Do you have 57 hats? Is your street address 57? Do you own a 57 Chevy? Are you 57 years old? Can you do 57 jumping jacks? Colchester Parks & Recreation and the Colchester Senior Center want you to show them your “57”!
Senior Center Staff and volunteers will be on hand at the “Show Us Your 57!” booth at this year’s Colchester 57 Fest, and they can not wait to see just how creative the community will be. Each person that stops at the booth and demonstrates their “57” will earn an official “57” temporary tattoo, as well as be entered into a drawing for great prizes.
The 57 Fest is a free family festival created as an annual celebration of Colchester’s designation as the 57th best town to live in the country, according to CNN/Money Magazine’s 2005 list. It will be held from 4:00-8:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at the Colchester Recreation Complex. Complete details are available on the web site: www.colchesterct.gov/57fest .
