The Open space advisory committee started as an open space task force, it officially became the open space advisory committee on April 10th, 2007.
The open space advisory committee reviews proposed open space parcels of land and makes an assessment on how well these parcels will work for the town.
The open space advisory committee than makes recommendations on the reviewed open space to the conservation commission for acceptance or denial.
